Fabricate the Raw Material

Fabricate the parts to be welded. In this case, the parts for a basket setting with a bail.

Tack the Parts Together

Use the LaserStar to tack weld the parts together. This will hold the parts together and still allow the designer to move the parts into place.

Run Welding Beads

Once the parts are tacked into place, run welding beads with the 50% overlap to complete the weld.
 

Filling

It may be necessary to fill in gaps and spaces with filler wire.

Clean

Clean up the area by filing, sanding or using a rubber wheel. Then polish and clean accordingly.
