Crafford - LaserStar Technologies is pleased to offer all of our clients the opportunity to contract a certified LaserStar Technician to visit their facility and assist in the setup & installation of their new LaserStar Workstation. This service is also available at our Riverside, Rhode Island USA production facility.
Our goal is to provide the following services while visiting with you for 8-12 hours:
- Uncrate and remove LaserStar Workstation from custom packaging (if
required)
- Prepare for initial setup and first operation of your LaserStar
Workstation.
Technical Review
- Identify new client's designated "LaserStar service personnel"
- Conduct a review of the Operation Manual and Safety Requirements
- Review initial setup and installation procedures
- Review basic operational features and controls of the LaserStar Workstation
- Review basic preventive maintenance procedures
- Review LaserStar Diagnostic "Troubleshooting" internal software
- Review Remote Access Modem features and operation (if required)
- Review required LaserStar Workstation service & cleaning requirements
- Identify consumable / spare parts requirements
- Complete "On-site Technical Installation Worksheet"
Operation and Applications Review
- Identify new client's designated "LaserStar Operators"
- Review basic operational features and controls of the LaserStar
Workstation
- Describe the concept of "hot-light" laser-welding
- Explain how the parameter control settings influence welding results
- Demonstrate the benefits of "free-moving" laser welding
- Provide hands-on training for each LaserStar Operator
- Review new client's prepared applications
- Review, discuss, and establish parameter setting for each application prepared
- Ensure that LaserStar Operators are skilled at welding prepared applications
- Review memory cell features and store preferred parameter settings
- Supervise LaserStar Operators while they practice for balance of training
