LaserStar Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony
Due to rapid growth, LaserStar Technologies recently broke ground on a new modern production facility in Orlando, Florida. The new state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2018 and will enable LaserStar to produce up to 1,000 laser systems per year in Florida alone. The new facility will be in addition to their current facility in Orlando, which encompasses 12,000 square feet and compliments their flagship Riverside, Rhode Island production facility, which boasts 27,000 square feet.
“As a result of our strong growth, we continue to expand our North American operations,” said James Gervais, President and C.O.O. Orlando provides LaserStar with a strategic location to continue the company’s aggressive sales growth while taking advantage of the high quality photonics workforce talent in the central Florida corridor. This is an excellent addition to our well established, workforce based in our RI production facility.” LaserStar has production facilities in Riverside, RI and Orlando, FL and a sales, service and education center in Arcadia, CA.
The company services many industries, including Medical Device, Industrial, Automotive, Firearms, Jewelry, Dental, and Tool & Die (mold repair) markets. LaserStar, whose stated goal is to exceed customers’ expectations in quality, price, training and service, prides itself on listening to its clients’ suggestions and complaints, a sound business practice that paves the way for constant improvement. Its promise is this: “Our highly skilled engineering and sales staff are always available to review new laser applications, share technical expertise and provide service and support for all LaserStar’s welding, marking, deep engraving and cutting products.” As always, LaserStar products are designed and built in America.
